Online and In-Person Therapy in San diego

Searching for a therapist can be quite the undertaking, and it’s so important to find someone that feels like a the best fit for you. At this point you are probably feeling maxed out, maybe at the height of your anxiety or overwhelm, or in the depths of your sadness or confusion. I sincerely hope we can connect!

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Eva and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, former educator, and mom of 2 little boys.

My experience as a high school teacher and my work with university students inspired me to branch out from the confines of a classroom and work with adolescents and young adults from a different angle. Additionally, as a mother who struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety, the perinatal population is one I hold very close to my heart. Supporting new moms, and helping parents gain a deeper understanding of their parenting journeys and their new identities as parents, is a fundamental necessity and something I feel extremely privileged to witness as a therapist.

Being flexible, building trust, and showing clients that I too am a human, helps me build strong rapport and meet my client’s where they are and support them to feel better. Feel more clear. Feel more connected to themselves and others.

I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy and advanced training and certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C). My experience lies in working with anxiety, depression, identity exploration, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, and parenting struggles.

I know it can feel like a big step to call a therapist, but I’ll make it easy. We’ll spend 15-minutes on the phone and I’ll let you know how or if I can help. If I am not the right person, I’ll do my best to get you to the right person.
